In Eastern Africa’s southern Kenya region, you find the the Maasai people. They are among 43 native tribes in the nation. They’re the last and only remaining tribe that has not adopted any modern methods of living. It’s all 100% unchanged for centuries. It’s not uncommon to see Maasai tribes herding their cattle through populous cities like Nairobi. The Kenya government allows them to do whatever they need, without interrupting their migratory patterns or cultural necessity. The jumping dance is a way for men to court the women- the higher you can jump, the more attractive you are.
